Position Announcements for 2011

2 Postdoctoral positions at the Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group

The Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group at the Niels Bohr Institute plans to fill two postdoctoral Fellowships with starting date in the fall of 2012. The group has broad interests in the areas of gravity, quantum field theory, string theory, integrability, cosmology, lattice field theory and particle phenomenology. The group has strong links with the Niels Bohr International Academy and the Discovery Center for Particle Physics.

The positions are associated to the project "Exploring the quantum universe", directed by Prof. J. Ambjorn, funded by the European Research Council under the ERC Advanced Grants program. Applicants should ideally have a strong background or interest in one, and preferably more, of the following research directions: quantum gravity, causal dynamical triangulations, black hole physics, string theory, gauge/gravity correspondence, integrability in supersymmetric gauge theories. The deadline for applications is Dec. 15, 2011.
